Annapolis

Yesterday was our three month anniversary and our first day of unemployment---two things to celebrate! Because our time in DC is winding down, we're going to try and pack in a lot of trips and activities in these next three weeks before we make the trek west. To start it all off, we headed to Annapolis, MD for the day. Unfortunately, we picked the one rainy day of the week to go, but we ended up having a good time.

Our first stop was at the US Naval Academy.

After a lot of walking and sightseeing, we grabbed dinner at Cantler's, a local crab shack that Jim had heard about. They actually pull their own crabs right out of the Chesapeake! The crab dip was absolutely incredible.

Overall we had a really fun day. We're excited to spend the next four days traveling through Pennsylvania and New York! Stay tuned!

  2. Hey Guys,

So, we love your blog! I was showing the girls all the pictures of Uncle Jim and Aunt Meghan and my favorite comments were: "Jim has hat backwards" and "Meghan making a funny face!" love you!
